Rain on the Roof

Sheets of rain,
Across the roof.
Hoping that,
It's waterproof.

For being wet,
I don't mind.
But in the proper,
Place and time.

Not in bed,
Middle of night.
Drips of head,
Waking fright.

For all things,
A season.
For that though,
No reason.

I hope that you like this little poem.  We recently had lots of rain as we were on the outskirts of Hurricane Irma and I could not help but to think of my old roof and how it would leak in such a rain.  So thankful for a good roof over my head and praying for all those hit hard by Irma.

Thanks for stopping by!  If you like this little poem, please pass it on.
